Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic is currently adding 10 brand new Arctic Cat Prowlers to its fleet. Co-financed within the framework of Integrated Operational Programme with financial assistance of the European Union, Czech firefighters received new effective equipment to help them save people and property. Prowlers HDX 700i for Czech firefighters were prepared and delivered in close cooperation of Czech Arctic Cat distributor ASP Group s.r.o., Arctic Cat Europe GmbH and General Management of the Czech Fire Rescue Services. Each new fire rescue Prowler is equipped with special equipment including blue magnetic LED beacon, portable high-pressure fire extinguisher with operation range of 60 meters and 250 liter water tank in the rear cargo box, electric winch in the front, 152 cm snow blade and large single-axis braked trailer. Side-by-side vehicles are gaining increasing popularity among firefighter brigades because of their wide variability and broad scope of applications. Most often they carry high-pressure fire extinguishers, hoses and other technical resources into hard-to-reach areas, or are used for transportation of sick or injured people from outlying areas to professional medical help.
