Jarda Šíma and LS2 helmets

Jarda Šíma, Czech motorcycle journalist, photographer, traveller and adventurer, tested LS2 helmets in challenging long-distance transcontinental rides. His helmet of choice was MX436 Pioneer Quarterback. With this helmet he rode on his longest journey so far, through Siberia's Kolyma up to Magadan - the farthest point you can drive in Russia. The return road led him through whole Mongolia, and when he returned home after 101 days, the helmet had 31,000 km driven. Today, after another months of use on the roads of Europe and Asia, the Quarterback helmet has travelled already more than 70,000 km and is still almost like new. For his next trip to the Senegal´s famous Pink Lake, Jarda chose the MX 470 Subverter motocross helmet, model Nimble. As he says, this is the ideal helmet for temperatures above 40 °C, and due to its distinctive design, its also very safe in Africa´s dense traffic because you cannot be overlooked. Jarda stayed with MX 470 Subverter to celebrate his 1,500,000-km goal, but this time he used "Power" colors, a combination of white metallic with chrome-blue, because it perfectly matches his BMW F 850 GS motorcycle, which he was riding that time. And with his  LS2 MX 470 Subverter Power, Jarda set out for the first kilometers of his next big dream - two million kilometers. We wish him good luck.
