Mountain corps of the Romanian police in Bihor Mountains received 24 new Access Motor ATVs. After winning an open tender, Access Max 700 LT 4x4 ATVs were choosen for rescue and off-road patrol operations in inaccessible areas. Specially modified ATVs will help Mountain rangers to protect the Apuseni Natural Park and the Stâna de Vale tourist resort. The advantage of ATVs compared to snowmobiles is versatile use on every imaginable terrain, safe operation on snow, sand, mud, grass, roads, rocky terrains and other surfaces, and minimal impact of ATV tires on the environment and nature.
